Back in Thyme B&B A Historical Bed and Breakfast Take a step Back in Thyme to over 100 years ago when life in a small southern town was laid back and friendly. When you visit Back in Thyme B&B, it still is. Owner and operators, Vince and Cindy Capaccio, want to welcome you to our home and make it your home away from home. We hope you enjoy your stay with us. Once you enter our home, you will feel a special comfort and hominess that will bring you back thyme and again. Upon arrival, we greet you with refreshments in the men's parlor or on the Victorian porch. In addition we supply a 24-hour refreshment center with microwave and hot or cold beverages and snacks. In the morning between 8 and 9 AM (or according to your schedule) we serve a full breakfast in the formal dining room or on the Victorian porch. We offer homemade pastries, fruit in season, a special entrée such as strawberry crepes or eggs Florentine, juice, coffee or tea on an elegantly appointed table with china, silver and linen and always fresh flowers.

Join your hosts John and Sarah Burleson as they take you for a tour of their 20 acre farm bed and breakfast located just five miles from historic Lexington Virginia in the Shenandoah Valley. Along with their Border Collie Jess you may visit with the sheep, chickens, and donkey on the farm, fish in the stream below the farm, bird watch in the woods and pasture (see our bird list) or just relax on the front porch with a drink and enjoy the sounds of nature. For the adventurous at heart we offer horseback riding packages (beginner to advanced) or bring your bike and take in the breathtaking scenery of the area. Lavender Hill Farm offers a convenient yet quiet place to spend a week or a weekend. It can serve equally well as a home base for exploring Lexington and the surrounding area or as a place for rediscovering what a quiet day was meant to be. Sarah and John will be glad to help you plan your day's activities to some of the nearby attractions or perhaps enjoy one of the inn's special packages.
